TAMINO

Price: Private Treaty
Breed: Andalusian, registered IALHA #9913(S),
Performance Horse Registry #4906960.
Lifetime registered: USEF, USDF
DOB: 2/11/06
Description: Two yr old colt, bay sabino, DNA EeAa. Futurity Nominated with IALHA
Sire/Dam: Diego MC/Augusta
Full siblings: Maddalena

What a stunning colt! He truly is the model son of his super model parents. His head is sculptured, his neck long and arched. Tamino is very harmonious in his build and his parts flow together beautifully with supple strength. His topline is exquisite with a fabulous hind end. His hind quarters are as broad as his chest, his back wide and strong and his legs are perfectly straight. He has huge thick amounts of tri colored mane and tail to add to his model looks.

Tamino is certainly part of the family....
Although Mr. Nickers the cat thinks otherwise

Fifteen months old
Twenty three months old

His movement is showing that real uphill balance and relaxed swing of the Diego foals. His gaits are fluid and relaxed with his canter already showing good strength for shortening strides and pirouettes. He just rolls along with quiet elegance. Very smooth!

Is this laid back and relaxed enough for you?
Tamino gets his feet trimmed the easy way.

Tamino's temperament seems just like his Dad, very laid back and relaxed when faced with events that would spook most horses. The more commotion you expose him to the better he seems to like it! Tamino is a gregarious, social horse and loves people and attention and will make an excellent horse for the amateur owner.

Tamino at three months
Tamino at nine months

Tamino’s docile nature and extremely elegant looks make him perfect for dressage and many other disciplines as well. He has smoothness and natural rhythm to be a hunter and soft comfortable gaits for western pleasure. If he’s anything like his dam, he will love anything that lets him dress up and be admired. With his abundant chrome and sparkle this colt is a serious standout no matter the discipline!

His color is both beautiful and rare and he has the potential to throw excellent color with high white in his offspring.

We have decided Tamino really  is too much of a rare and wonderful guy to sell and is being retained by us to breed to some of our mares. He will be available for purchase in future only as a stallion and with retained breedings. Partnership or lease also available for someone wanting to ride and show this fun guy while we maintain some breeding rights. Contact Tintagel if interested.

ERNANI (aka ERNIE)

Price: UNDER CONTRACT
Breed: Andalusian, registered IALHA #10888(S),
Lifetime registered USEF
DOB: 2/10/07
Description: Yearling Colt, homozygous black, DNA EEaa,
Futurity nominated with IALHA
Sire/Dam: Regaliz/Shalem
Full siblings: Rodolfo, Arturo, Giselda

Ernani, aka Ernie, is growing into the stunning colt I knew he would be. He has great big doe eyes and is solid black with just a tiny spot of white on one hind foot. He has a beautiful head both inside and out. This colt is smart and highly trainable.

He is the first to check out new objects in the field and is always leading his turnout buddies in new games. He has already learned his first trick, to smile, and uses it to impress visitors with how clever and cute he is. Highly intelligent with confidence gives Ernie an impressive air and make him an interactive partner.

His build is one of balanced, medium proportions with long neck and super straight legs. Flexible and elastic are the words that describe him best. He will fill out to be broad, strong and carry quite a bit of leg yet retain that innate suppleness.

Six months old
Eleven months old

His movement has incredible suspension and reach and is completely straight. He shows adjustability and range within the gait and I expect that to only develop further. Suspension and flexibility like he has are rare in the breed and make him a suitable for a career in jumping as well as dressage.

If you want an incredible moving black Andalusian with the mind, concentration and action to succeed seriously in any sport, this is your man.

DANDINI (aka BERT)

Price: $15,000
Breed: Andalusian, registered IALHA #10887(S)
DOB: 3/9/07
Description: Yearling Colt, black, carries red gene, DNA Eeaa,
Futurity nominated with IALHA
Sire/Dam: Regaliz/Esmeralda MC
Full siblings: Ramiro, Don Magnifico

Another full brother to the already amazing produce from Esmeralda! Dandini, aka Bert, is big, baroque and very impressive.

Five months old
Ten months old

He has a large arched muscular neck already and looks like he will mature into a slightly heavier body type than his brother Ramiro. Same great laid back shoulder and beautiful quarters.

He has a real baroque look with a slight convex profile, round croup and will be the epitome of old world type and strength when all grown. Very striking looking in a style not often found anymore.

Bert is intelligent, calm and independent. He sits and studies what the other colts do before making a choice on what his actions should be. His actions shows natural restraint when exposed to frightening objects and he should prove to be a steady and reliable training partner.

Fifteen months old

His gaits have real height, reach and style. He rolls forward with roundness and control. Classic Andalusian elevation with incredible uphill balance in all gaits.

Beautiful balanced canter as quality as the trot. Bert should excel in any of the classical disciplines: Doma Vaquera, Working Equitation, or High School. His classic looks will give him flair to any of the modern takes on these from competitive dressage to rail classes.

With his impressive neck and round black physique, Dandini will be the black stallion of legend and dreams with one exception... he's real.

RINALDO

Price: $12,000
Breed: Andalusian, registered IALHA #10943(S),
Lifetime registered USEF
DOB: 5/27/07
Description: Yearling Colt, bay, carries red and black gene,
DNA EeAa, Futurity nominated with IALHA
Sire/Dam: Diego MC/Costosa
Full siblings: None

WOW...and double...WOW... What an exciting combination this one turned out to be!! Rinaldo has serious action and motion for those wanting a big moving and exciting performance prospect. He is the most beautiful mahogany bay with dramatic black highlights over his withers and croup.

Three months old
Seven months old

His top line is lovely with grace yet power to his lines. Incredibly high set neck that comes straight out of his back and great angles to his shoulder and hip. Broad, square, leg at each corner and very well balanced. This colt is the embodiment of his amazing bloodlines.

Beyond his looks - his movement. Another WOW.... Incredibly high motion with his knees breaking over level and snappy hocks pushing underneath. His trot continues to develop reach and length of stride and I expect it to develop even more power as time goes on. Athletic with real prowess and agility to accompany all of that motion.

Really exceptional. Rinaldo has proved himself a combination of his dam's mental sharpness but overlaid with the mellowness of his sire. He is very social and active, always looking to see what he can get into.

No matter what the discipline he goes into, Rinaldo will be the one to beat.
Spunk with commonsense, this one will be fun and really turn heads. Name that discipline, he will win them all. Very special, very rare.

SIEGFRIED (aka MARVIN)

Price: $15,000
Breed: Drum Horse, registered GCDHA
DOB: 4/7/07
Description: Yearling Colt, black and white heterozygous tobiano
Sire/Dam: King Rocky/Zoelynette (Friesian)
Full siblings: None

What a hunk of fun! Siegfreid, aka Marvin, is so inquisitive and always into something. He is true to his draft blood of being steady and calm yet he has forward drive and energy. He is so personable he simply has to be the center of attention at all times. (And of course he rarely isn't...)

Marvin gives mom a kiss.

Marvin is incredibly social and will even leave his feed bucket to come say hello. He loves the world and wants to interact with every part of it. Marvin has such a positive, innocent and fun energy about him; you can’t help but smile when he is near.

Nine months old
Three months old

His build is one of strength, size, and substance without being coarse. His neck is exquisitely shaped, high set, arched with perfect turnover at the poll. He is square, broad and harmonious in build. When mature Marvin will have plenty of feather, just crazy amounts of mane and tail and be such a stunning looker.

Marvin shows his Patriots pride.

Marvin’s action has plenty of knee with expression and smoothness. He travels completely straight and shows good reach. Steady of mind with enough pizzazz to be flashy make Marvin a natural exhibition horse, show horse or best friend. The future is bright and there stands Marvin in the middle of it with food all over his face, his hair a mess, ears up and waiting for you.

MORADO BR

Diego MC x La Mirada

b. 5/9/06 bay colt

Morado is in a word, elegant! Tall, regal and a dancer in any movement. Cantering, turning, spinning, rollbacks, trotting----all performed effortlessly and with grace and elegance.

These are the words that best describe this gorgeous son of Diego MC. He is growing straight and tall and will be a rich bay color with lovely white markings. True to his Andalusian heritage, Morado has a sweet disposition and seems partial to his child visitors.

One has but to carefully raise train and condition this colt who was blessed with abundant natural talent to have a competitor to be reckoned with in any sport of choice. You can not take your eyes off Morado when he is animated....every movement is effortless.

POLARIS - HALF ANDALUSIAN

Regaliz x National Symphony (Appaloosa)

b. 6/3/06 black colt with snowflake blanket on croup. May roan or varnish with age?

A Regaliz look alike but with spots! Polaris is described by his owner as having his daddies neck and a strong hindquarter, thick mane and tail and a very pretty head.

His conformation is lovely with long legs, short back, well angled croup, long muscular neck with a high neck set and a huge powerful butt with push. Plus those cute little spots!

He's been bathed, brushed and had his feet picked up and cleaned. He learns incredibly fast and fears nothing. He's level headed and more of a human than a horse that likes to be with other horses.

He's agile and light on his feet, and knows where his feet are landing despite his very fast gallop around corners and over trees/rocks. He whinnies when he sees people and comes running up to people for scratches and kisses.

He'll also take off with the lead ropes and halters if they are within distance for him to snag as well as being a master of undoing all Velcro. He stands quietly when released from being worked with to wait for another pat or kiss on the nose.

A real gentleman and powerhouse, with just a touch of flashy color!
