Cappy's driving hocks propel her powerfully forward in a
huge, straight, sweeping stride that amazes onlookers. She
too retains elevation with her extension so this most important
element of Spanish horse movement is not lost.
Cappy is now retired from breeding and is living out her
autumn days with our good friend Kathy Levin in Arizona. It
was very hard to let Cappy go. Kathy owned a half brother
to Cappy who had passed away and Cappy coming to live with
Kathy was the closure and completeness she needed. Both are
so happy together enjoying the warm weather and just being
with each other! It's the dream retirement home for such a
special, special mare. Thanks Kathy. She is one of the few
sources of Hosco II blood and a very valuable blood line. |
