We are all just so in love with Taxes. She’s funny, sweet, and gentle with tons of personality. She really is a big kid with all the curiosity and enthusiasm at new things you would expect. She has such good energy and is a fantastic momma. Everyone loves to hang out with Taxes.

Her build is one of strength and size. She has a beautiful high set shapely neck, great topline and straight legs with no extreme angles or “set”. Her conformation is made for riding. Her gaits are remarkably light and uphill for her big size. She has considerable self carriage and throughness and shows all of this without daily riding work. They should only develop more with some work and maturity. Her walk is most impressive with a regular long overstep and her trot has quite a bit of lift and thrust to it.

Taxes offspring have been extraordinary in their build, movement, color and height. So gorgeous are they that they sell quickly so if you want a tall, yet elegant Drum horse in a rare color better reserve one now!

The only thing is that is ugly about Taxes is her docked tail. Done before I bought her it just makes me sad to see such procedure done to a horse’s spine. We have grown her tail hair in so at least she has something to swat flies with, as what little tail is there does work.

Taxes is a rare flaxen chestnut sabino Clydesdale. Clydesdales in this color are very rare and her flaxen mane and tail just add to her beauty.

Her DNA is eeAa meaning she can throw red or black. Finding nicely built horses that also happen to be a rare color is just a talent we have here at Tintagel!
