Comico VI is an imported FEI dressage schoolmaster and probably the rarest colored PRE in the US. He is a 16 hand bay sabino/rabicano. His DNA is EeAa meaning he can throw bay, black, and chestnut and of course his extraordinary and extremely rare white roaning and patterning.

Comico has been Grand Champion of the Eastern Regional Andalusian Horse Club Region Six show TWICE as well as winning the Best Movement class TWICE. In fact he has won ever class he ever entered at that show. In 2008, Comico was shown by a young amateur in both open and amateur riding classes winning all of them. Comico loves showing and really steps up to the tasks asked of him. He doesn’t quit even after a long day in the heat! He is ready to go to Nationals to compete in a variety of classes. Comico can puff up and be jazzy enough for halter classes, full of brio and excitement, yet immediately settle down to be shown by an amateur. He rises to whatever level of energy you want then goes back to his stall to fall asleep.

Comico is FEI level dressage and knows all the movements: piaffe, passage, laterals, pirouettes and tempis. He has been mainly hacking and giving lessons for the two years he’s been here and was just started back in professional dressage training in the fall of 2008. He loves schooling and is so happy to be in the ring working hard on a daily basis. He never says no or quits. The harder you challenge him the happier he is. What a great positive attitude he has!

Comico’s movement is beyond compare with incredible airtime and snap, big reach and extension without losing any elevation. He is square in build and medium in proportion. He is very heavily boned and built to last. He is currently barefoot and has no health or soundness maintenance issues.

His first crop of foals all carry his impressive movement and came in a variety of colors including some very beautiful modified bay shades. Comico is easy to breed live cover and also trained to collect AI with great motility numbers.  He has never stood at public stud and should be wildly successful if allowed to stand open.

Comico has everything one could want in a high class PRE: generous work ethic, excellent conformation, expressive movement and a striking, eye catching coloring. You won’t find another like him anywhere.
