A full sibling to Manrico! This colt has exquisite conformation and presence. His head is sculpted and refined, neck set is high and arched, legs perfectly straight, good withers and short back. He promises a bright future in almost any discipline. Whether for breed ring or open competition, this is a real head turning colt. His movement is developing some real suspension and loft.

He has his dam's reach and loose shoulders coupled with his sire's push and carriage. His movements are round and fairly high yet still elastic and forward. These traits give Don Carlos the ability to lengthen stride well in a beautiful uphill fashion yet still collect and be able to sit down. He is a beautiful combination of his parents!

His build is immensely broad with a huge chest and wide hindquarters already. He will be a very substantial, noble, sculpted baroque steed indeed! This colt has typey old world build combined with flexibility enough for modern competitions.

If you are looking for that dream white stallion with long thick hair to be able to canter in place and then power across a diagonal in a medium trot, look no further. Don Carlos was only shown once last season and was second in his breed class at the New England Dressage Association Championships. Judge Hilda Gurney wrote on his card " Beautiful colt....elegant and correctly made foal...."
